Sri Narada Muni came to Prayag, were he met a group of learned and elevated sages. They were praising each other by saying: "You are the recipient of Krishna's mercy." But then an effulgent brahmana entered the scene, who was the spiritual leader of that region. He distributed food to all the sages present and prepared all the items to worship the deity. After finishing the puja, Narada exclaimed: "This is the Supreme Lord Vishnu's most dear devotee!"
